Cookie Policy

We keep this short. Research use only — this catalog is for laboratory research, not human use.
Essential cookies
Always on. They keep the cart and session working. Without them the site cannot function. If you sign in to your account, a sign-in cookie (__Host-blr_acc) keeps you signed in for up to 90 days; it is not used for tracking.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID on this site) runs only after you choose Accept on the cookie bar. If you choose Essential only, we do not load analytics.
Session recordings
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through our pages (clicks, scrolling and page views), so we can fix what confuses people. It runs on every page except the checkout, order confirmation and account pages, unless you choose Essential only (or Decline): then it does not load. Until you choose Accept, Clarity sets no cookies and cannot recognise you from one page to the next; after Accept it may set the cookies _clck and _clsk. Text you type into forms, numbers and email addresses are hidden before anything leaves your browser, and the chat window is not recorded. Microsoft handles this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Our own page statistics
A small script of ours tells our own server how long pages stay on screen, how far people scroll, which product options, cart, chat and menu buttons are used, what is searched on the site (email addresses and long numbers removed in your browser), how fast pages load, the kind of device, and the source, campaign, ad and placement labels of an ad link. It sets no cookies. It keeps a random tab number, the page count of the tab and the ad placement label in your browser's session storage, which is deleted when you close the tab. Our server stores these reports without your IP address, browser details or cookies, for up to 30 days, and our team gets daily summaries that do not name any person; the names of the actions (not search text) also go to Microsoft Clarity as tags of its recordings. It runs before you answer the cookie bar, does not run on the checkout, order confirmation and account pages, and stops when you choose Essential only or Decline.
Advertising measurement
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To measure those ads, tags on this site send your shopping activity (products viewed, cart changes, starting checkout, completed orders) to Meta, and may set cookies and identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc. They run on every page except the checkout page, unless you choose Essential only: then they do not load and nothing more is sent. Details are in section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data for money. We never send card details to advertising or analytics services, and no advertising tag runs on the checkout page.
Your choices
Use anytime to Accept analytics, or to keep Essential only, which switches analytics, session recordings, our own page statistics and advertising measurement off. See also our Privacy Policy.
