GHRP / GHRH research compounds

Growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) is a hypothalamic peptide that UniProt describes as acting on the anterior pituitary to stimulate growth hormone secretion [1]. Synthetic GHRH analogues are used as reference compounds in pituitary-axis and receptor-pharmacology research in cell and animal models. GHRP-class peptides (growth hormone secretagogues) act through a separate receptor, which is why this family name covers two receptor classes.

The current catalog member is tesamorelin research peptide (10mg). Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue built on the GHRH(1โ€“44) sequence with an N-terminal trans-3-hexenoyl modification. PubChem lists it as C221H366N72O67S, about 5136 g/mol (CID 16137828) [2]. Because the molecule is large, mass-spectrometry identity on the lot certificate is the key check that a vial matches the stated sequence. Our note on tesamorelin identity covers the sequence, formula, CAS numbers and salt forms.

Researchers often search for ipamorelin and CJC-1295 alongside tesamorelin. Neither is a current catalog listing. Our CJC-1295 and ipamorelin identity hub explains how the two are told apart on paperwork.

Each listing is a sealed lyophilized research reagent supplied with lot documentation. Lab COA PDFs are published per product in our COA library, and safety data sheets are on the SDS page. Nothing on this page is a medicine or a treatment, and nothing here is guidance for any use outside the laboratory. For laboratory research use only.
